Wiring and Sensors

Here's my delivery of wiring!. Everything is coloured coded. I'm also beefing up the battery feed to 400 Amp cable, because i get quite a voltage drop from the battery to the starter, I’ve seen ~8.5v before - don’t think MS would like that.

I intend to fit the fuses, relays and MS inside the dash board, because that's the driest place i can think of.

This lot came from Vechicle wiring products in the UK. Looks like the sell the connectors for the Bosch injectors too.

Here's my wiring diagram, not that great because its done in Visio, and it's laid out physically rather than logically.

It shows two O2 (lambda) sensors, if i ever fit two sensors i will put a switch in the MS box to change between left and right. At this stage, I'll just have the wiring in place.

Before I fit the manifold, I want to get MS installed and get the Tach signal working nicely with the current known good setup. So the next step is to get the loom completed and fitted. It needs to be rugged and waterproof.

The completed Loom, It features left and right lambda sensors, there's a small switch on the dashboard that selects either one. The idea is that if i get a lazy/faulty/blocked injector or wiring fault, i will be able to compare the left and right banks of the engine.
